About Ampere Studio
Ampere Studio is an independent app studio founded by Anderson Hu in Taiwan. The name comes from the ampere, the unit of electric current: we want our tools to work like current — invisible, but keeping things running.
How we build
- Start from a real snag
- Every product comes from a problem we or people around us actually hit: transfers you cannot find mid-trip, expiry dates too small to read in a medical supply room, invoices typed in one by one for expense reports.
- Your data stays with you
- If it can be done on the device, it is not uploaded. If a feature works without an account, we do not ask you to sign up.
- Works offline
- On the road, in a warehouse, in a basement — the network is not always there, so core features are designed to work offline first.
- Small and complete
- We do one thing well at a time and own it end to end, from the interface to the privacy policy to the support inbox.
Building with AI
We build across iOS, Android, web and backend, and use Claude Code to plan, write and review code, so a small team can keep quality high and ship quickly.
